THE FIFTH SAN GABRIEL VALLEY POETRY FESTIVAL WILL HAVE EVENTS THROUGHOUT NATIONAL POETRY MONTH!
Saturday, April 6th, 3 to 5pm - FESTIVAL KICKOFF open poetry reading (with free raffle, prizes for all readers) hosted by Mary Torregrossa inside the backroom of the Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library on 999 E. Washington Blvd.
Wednesday, April 10th, 7:30 to 10pm - SHOUT! Poetry Then & Now themed featured reading with open mic hosted by Eric Morago featuring Andres Bermejo, Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, and Christopher Luke Trevilla at Half Off Books on 6708 Greenleaf Ave. in Whittier
Saturday, April 13th, 3 to 5pm - THE DEAD & THE LIVING open poetry reading (each reader reads two poems, one from a dead poet and one of their own, plus free copy of POETRY magazine for first ten readers) hosted by CaLokie inside the backroom of the Santa Catalina Branch of the Pasadena Public Library on 999 E. Washington Blvd.

Every 4th Friday of the month we feature a writer and live musical guest.)
